An SEO Experiment from Boxing

I am doing an SEO experiment on my other blog regarding the latest exciting happening in Philippine History. The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera boxing fight Tomorrow, October 7 2007. What I want to know is if I can gain more RSS Subscriber from that since, I have heard from some other blogs that they can get more Subscriber thru Off Topic Post. So I will know from this experiment.

I have now directed all my related site to my post so that it can be indexed by search engine. My previous experiment seems to be successful, I just don’t know about this one. I will let you know in the future post.

I have updated my blog by putting a widget which could let my readers rate my post. Aside from comments that my readers do. This are the stars below my post.

What is Spotback?

Spotback is a personalized rating system that recommends relevant content based on personal rating history using collaborative filtering and aggregated knowledge technologies.

How to get your Spotback Rate Everything widget

Go to the Spotback Get a Widget page. You will be presented with a choice of widget styles. Just pick one that you feel comfortable with, you can always modify your choice later. And then just follow the instruction and get the HTML code to be paste on your blog.

How does it helps your reader?

It helps the reader by pointing readers to other relevant part of your site. It also helps your reader to be able to rate your post.

Conclusion

It helps the webmasters and blog owner to increase page views which may mean an increase in income. It is also a community wherein if you use it right it will help you advertise your blog.

I will make some experiments and I will rate every post that I will do. For my readers could you help me in this experiment and do some clicking on my tags and rating. After 2 weeks I will report what happen on this experiment.

My Ratified Rank

It is good to see that my technorati rank is becoming high. And in this case my ranking at ratified.org is also moving near the top Philippine Technology Site.

Ratified.org measures the top 100 blogs of the Philippine blogosphere Electro-charged by über-geeky Technorati data sprinkled with Feedburner stats.

At present my ratified rank is 49.. ( that was a great accomplishment ). But if the links to my site will not increase before the end of 6 months that ranking will decrease since Technorati is maintaining the rank for the span of only 6 months.

Thanks to my post regarding the Viral Link and my Do Follow tag post which made me on top. I am also checking my stats using Mypagerank.net.

Could Viral ViralTags increase our PR and Ranking

Ok Since this is an SEO month for me and I am increasing my ranking and gathering some new found friends I have received a request from Jimmy to try his Viral Tags, And so I am now riding in this viral tag. I have seen this post from bobmeetsworld.com as the saying goes thereis no harm in trying. This month is what I called link building and increasing different friends on the net. I have also blogged about the do follow and seems it works great since the comments increase and my technorati rank increases also. From 94,444 to 81,068 in two days. Nice changes..so let us see what will this viral link do on my site..
