My Ratified Rank

It is good to see that my technorati rank is becoming high. And in this case my ranking at ratified.org is also moving near the top Philippine Technology Site.

Ratified.org measures the top 100 blogs of the Philippine blogosphere Electro-charged by über-geeky Technorati data sprinkled with Feedburner stats.

At present my ratified rank is 49.. ( that was a great accomplishment ). But if the links to my site will not increase before the end of 6 months that ranking will decrease since Technorati is maintaining the rank for the span of only 6 months.

Thanks to my post regarding the Viral Link and my Do Follow tag post which made me on top. I am also checking my stats using Mypagerank.net.

My post regarding Adsense and SEO Tips also gives a good amount of visitors to my site.

While checking the net I have come accross to this site which gives Live TV Coverage at different countries having about 1750 TV Station on to it.. Well after trying I am not able to run the TV things but I have run the other thing on it like the most popular Gogle Video , Metcafe and Youtube,, even the ebay which is ending is shown there and others. You just have to install their toolbar in order to work.

I am now in my quest to increase my visitors and and to have a higher blog rank and this post come to my way ” 20 Steps to Increase Your Blog’s Ranking 10X ”. I recommend this post made by a christian blogger who have made different experimentation regarding blog ranking. I have tried some of his suggestion and I am still experimenting other.

Digg’s count on your post?

How to make your digg count on your post and giving access to your reader to immidiately digg your post. Well, after seeing other bloggers do this. I have tried some experimentation how to do it and it goes like this.

1) Submit the blog post you have made to Digg so you could have the first count.

2) Then after submission to digg, Digg will give you a URL directing to the digg post that you have made

3) Copy the URL

4) Edit your post ( the one you have submitted to digg ) and incorporate this code

Cyber criminals tapping into ME

Cyber criminals are stepping up their focus on the Middle East, authorities are warning following the busting of an online fraud ring that targeted Dubai. Last week’s announcement by authorities that an online fraud gang had been pretending to offer financial services out of the Dubai International Financial Centre has highlighted the dangers firms here in the region are facing. David Knott, CEO of the Dubai Financial Services Authority, warned last week that such attacks will “increasingly” occur in the Middle East.
“The Middle East is becoming a new target for those cyber crimes because [people] are engaging more in technologies and connecting to networks around the world. The more connections, the more vulnerabilities you will have,” Dr Abdulrahman Al-Shenafi, senior adviser on IT and security to the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia told IT Weekly.

Companies in the banking, hospitality and travel sectors, which are growing their online presence, are particularly at risk, but “any large corporation or business online that has a significant income from these websites,” would be a target for cyber crime, according to Rashed Al-Abbar, product manager esecurity at Etisalat.

If this could happen in the Middle East, It could also happen anywhere. So everybody should be aware of this news, even you are in Middle East or in Philippines.

Riyadh leads WiFi way

It is reported by itp.net that Riyadh is the first city in Saudi Arabia to introduce WiFi Access.

Riyadh is expected to become the Kingdom’s first fully ‘smart’ city.
Riyadh looks set to become the first free ‘smart city’ in Saudi Arabia – and indeed the wider Middle East – according to officials speaking at the city’s first free-for-all WiFi hot spot launch yesterday.
At the unveiling of the new internet access zone on Prince Muhammad ibn Abdul Aziz Street, part of the city’s Smart Cities Forum event, the Deputy Governor of Riyadh claimed the city will become Saudi Arabia’s first full ‘smart city’, Arab News reported.
According to Smart Cities Forum’s organisers, the establishment of such smart cities in the Kingdom will in turn help the government improve its economic and security related performance.
The Governor of Saudi Telecommunications and IT, Mohammed Al-Suwaiyel, added that other major Saudi cities, such as Jeddah and Madinah, should also become smart cities, since both are now what he called “logistically ready“ for such a move.
As a result of yesterday’s launch, anyone in the Prince Muhammad ibn Abdul Aziz Street area with a wireless device such as a WiFi-ready notebook PC, smartphone or PDA, can access the internet quickly, easily and for free.
In addition to Prince Muhammad ibn Abdul Aziz Street’s new WiFi capability, IT hardware giant Intel also has a WiMAX broadband trial running on The Alia Street; the main downtown strip in Riyadh.
Speaking to Windows Middle East last month, Intel’s regional manager for government affairs, Abdul Rahman Jarrar, explained: “WiMAX there will be launching properly soon. We set-up WiMAX on that street, covering several kilometers, so that everyone from end users walking or sipping coffee to merchants can use this

I think this is a good indication that Saudi Arabia is also doing it’s best to cope up with the Technology.

MySpace is Filtering Videos

It is reported at physorg.com by ANICK JESDANUN, AP Internet Writer that myspace is starting to filter out copyrighted materials. Physorg reports as follows:

MySpace is licensing technology from Audible Magic Corp., which late last year obtained rights to a system for scanning video clips and looking for signature vectors – such as a unique digital fingerprint – to compare with vectors stored in a database. Video can be blocked from appearing on MySpace when there is a match.

The popular online hangout MySpace said Monday it will experiment with a video-filtering system designed to block clips containing copyright materials

Thanks to Myspace on their dedication to stop user on using copyrighted materials. But how efficient could they do this? Or maybe because of the recent legal problems that youtube is having regarding copyrighted materials that is showing in their hub.

According to Chris DeWolfe, MySpace’s co-founder and chief executive as written also in Anick’s report,

“MySpace is dedicated to ensuring that content owners, whether large or small, can both promote and protect their content in our community,For MySpace, video filtering is about protecting artists and the work they create.”

This statement will make you fill that myspace will do their best to protect your rights.

Finding Your Friends location

Who want to know where is the location of your friends , love ones or others who send you the message?

All you have to do is to know their IP Address and you can locate them through IP-Adress site .This site will show you a location of image that look like Google Earth.

The only problem I got is, I do not know how to locate their IP. I don’t have some luck today with google since i tried lots of query. But for the comments on the blogs wordpress or blogger gives details about the IP address of the commenter.

Even on the stats of Sitemeter you will be able to locate the IP address of your visitors. Happy browsing.
