It is great that the media already features blogging as a source of extra income for many Filipinos. At least many people will no longer be shocked why you need to open a dollar account because you receive dollar cheques from google and paid review sites.
There would be the disadvantages though, the BIR might be hunting people who earn via the internet. With the strengthening peso and unaccounted pork barrel funds among our legislators, who wants to pay their online income taxes?

I think this might be a problem in the near future because they may just make a law that anything coming from our known advertisers like adsense and other should have a tax.
