CES-Yahoo unveils partners for Web TV push

Inc unveiled on Wednesday a list of partners to aid its push to bring the Internet and together, hoping their joint effort will finally connect with consumers.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Yahoo said it has forged deals with companies including Samsung Electronics Co Ltd , Electronics Inc , Sony Corp  and Vizio, which will make high-definition TVs that support Yahoo’s online service.

Ever since the dawn of the Internet Age, tech companies have been promising to bring "convergence" of the online and TV universes, but those efforts have failed to take off with consumers who have found such products difficult to use.

The new TVs announced on Wednesday will be in the market as early as the spring and will support widgets — small Internet applications — that run alongside broadcast TV content, but not over it.

Google Buys TNC

Inc. has acquired Korean software company Tatter and Company, a push to expand into a market where remains a relatively small player.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

TNC co-chief executive Chang Kim announced the acquisition on his personal blog, saying that the deal would boost Google’s market share in Korea, where portals like Inc. are very popular. He also added that TNC would try to introduce its blogging platform, known as Textcube, outside Korea.

Chatting Vs Blogging

Are you always using messenger? or perhaps live messenger. Now I seldom use those application since I would prefer to find ways to promote my blog rather than to chat. In I can earn while doing it while in chatting I cannot earn from it.

There are also times when not all chatters use webcams , because of it cost. Now webcams can easily been avail from different store with an affordable price. But me I don’t have a separate webcams since my is already incorporated with it’s own webcam.

For me going to Twitter or plurk is better

Times really evolve and Internets seems to be improving and improving everyday. I wonder when can chatting be a profitable income. BTW I want it in a clean way :)

A Helpful Tool To Check Your Blogs Stats

Yesterday I received an email from Yahoogroups regarding helpful from a Blogger.

I love helpful tools and I’ve done a weekend project to skin Xinu. I had fun!
What is Xinu (unix spelled backward)? It’s a tool to you check your blog’s (or even someone’s) PageRank, Alexa rank, backlinks, feed subscribers, technorati rank, validation/diagnostics and much more. You can also use it for your website.
Xinu has also a reporting tool to save it as PDF if you need to print (still scratchy).

I may say that I am impress on that project. The only thing I cannot understand at the report is the Validation part, I got the following result

XHTML : 582 errors, Not valid

CSS : 12 errors, Not valid

RSS : 9 errors, Not valid

I am not a programmer, But will somebody help me understand this. Will it affect my page? or what.

In my overall opinion the site is very helpful it is a 1 stop page to get the desired stats. Great job for the programmer.

Yahoo Advertising now India when in Philippines?

advertising is only available in the US, however a recent development revealed that Yahoo is also entering India via an Internet advertising company focused on Indian websites.

Now My question is , Is there any possibility that Yahoo will also enter and perhaps join a local advertising company in ? like  well we do not know.

Yahoo YPN is a great alternative to those or web owners that has been banned by Adsense.

 I am wondering if I could use my PDA Mobile with Windows Mobiles 5 in receiving my e-mail at the office using POP and it succeed. How do I make it? just follow the settings mentioned below

e-mail Address : youremailadd@gmail.com

username : youremailadd@gmail.com

incoming mail server : pop.gmail.com

outgoing mail serer : smtp.gmail.com

: ” Blank”

Incoming Mail server required SSL authentication : ” Check it “

Outgoing Mail server required SSL authentication : ” Check it “

use separate setting : ” Do not check “

Get message header only

This is also applicable if you have a company e-mail. When you tried top open your email thru the net using exchange server or whatever try to look at the lower left corner of the screen while the net is asking the password, this number which could you see at the lower left end is usually the incoming mail server / outgoing mail server of your company then follow other details as mention above.

I want to share you some application which I am using to chat with and MSN via my 3230 mobile. Just try to access http://wap.mig33.com, and download the Mobile Application.

Here are the simple step to access and Install mig33 on your mobile:

Step 1 : Make sure your mobile is capable of web browsing
Step 2 : Enroll your mobile phone to your service provider to Mobile Internet ( if you are in Saudi and using Al Jawal – Type “NET” in message and send to 2222 )
Step 3 : Surf and go to http://wap.mig33.com using your Mobile Internet
Step 4 : Then Download the mig33 installer
Step 5 : accept the installation even it is unverified
Step 6 : After installation go to the Program list on your menu and try to look for mig33 application
Step 7 : Then it will ask you to register if you have pre registered on their site http://www.mig33.com from your computer you can use this log in details in your mobile if not you have to register.
Step 8 : When ever you are already log in just press menu and change the setting of IM ( Instant Messaging ). Put your login details for yahoo and then presto you can now chat using your mobile. In Saudi Arabia the charge is based on Kilo bites (KB) Sent.

I hope you can get it. My wife and I is enjoying chatting with our relatives and friends because it’s convenient to use our Cellphone than to open the computer. That is only my opinion.
